What does Support look like in FinTech?

Part of me wants to argue it’s different, and another part wants to say it’s exactly the same: you’re helping the customer by getting out of their way to continue their journey to their destination.

However, FinTech needs terrifically amazing and GREAT customer service. I’m not pandering: I mean it. Advisors teach their clients. We — people in general — learn how to act, think, and work by watching others, by learning from role models.

Think about it. We in FinTech (and anywhere, too!) have the ability and privilege of teaching advisors how to teach. We can directly impact their clients. We can make their lives better because of what we provide to the advisors.

Imagine if investors learned generosity from their role models. Who are their role models? How would this world be different? What if investors learned to become entrepreneurs? How would that change society, our culture? What if… What if we taught advisors how to teach their clients to make sure they are invested right and have peace of mind to pursue their goals? What would the world look like in 20, 50, 100 years?

I love helping companies scale and grow their organizations to delight customers and employees, enabling healthy teams, fast growth, and fewer headaches. Scaling quickly is wrought with potholes and plot twists. When you’re running a company, losing customers, and employees are on their way out, and don’t have your systems running smoothly, then you’ll be at your wits' end. I've been there and hate it.
